Internet and Web Browser

Internet and How it Work:-

The internet is a global network of connected computers and servers that communicate with each other using standardized protocols. It allows for the sharing of information and resources, such as documents, images, and videos, between users. The most commonly used protocol is the Internet Protocol (IP), which enables the transfer of data packets between devices. Users access the internet through an internet service provider (ISP) using devices such as computers, smartphones, and tablets. The World Wide Web (WWW), which is a collection of interconnected documents and other resources, is one of the most widely used applications of the internet.

What is web Browser:-

A web browser is a software application that allows users to access, retrieve, and view information on the World Wide Web (WWW). It connects to a server, requests web pages and other resources, and then displays them on a user's device. The web pages are usually written in languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript and the browser translates them into a format that can be displayed. Some examples of popular web browsers include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. Browsers can also have additional functionality such as the ability to save bookmarks, history and cookies, and can also include extensions and add-ons for added functionality.

Users can type a web address (URL) into the browser's address bar, and the browser will then send a request to the server hosting that website. The server sends back the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other files that make up the website, and the browser renders the website and displays it on the user's device.
